Slash in Love — a look back at the awful horror movies of the ’80s — is live
Are you a fan of the classic slasher movie Halloween? How about Friday the 13th? Or maybe you cringe a bit when you look back at the bad acting, often-cheap special effects and, of course, horrible writing of these oldies.
Either way, you might like my horror/comedy comic running now on the Tapastic webcomic site, Slash in Love, a look at how difficult life can be when you’re the world’s worst ’80s-movie slasher. And when you’re in love with your last girl, the one you’re supposed to kill to move up the slasher rankings? Then life gets really complicated.
I’m working on this comic — which will be 120 pages when done — with the talented artist Coty Taboada. She’s a muralist and comics artist who does a great job with expressions, and has really brought my characters to life in this story. I’m thrilled to be working with her.
If you’re a fan, then, of those old movies where the bad guys never could quite die, check out my comic. If you like it, let me know. (If you don’t, you can keep it to yourself.) I’ll be updating the comic two times a week at Tapastic.
